Test Day Schedule

8:00 am	Door opens at Test Centre
8:00-8:45 am	Check-in
9:00 am	Test begins. Late candidates WILL NOT be accepted
9:00-12:00 pm	Listening, Reading & Writing sections
12:40-4:40 pm	Speaking Interviews with Examiner (14 minutes per candidate) Interview times are randomly chosen by computer. Requesting an interview time or changing times on Test Day is NOT permitted.
5:00 pm	Door locks at Test Centre

The IELTS Test is available in two formats: Academic and General Training. Read more:

Identification - Important Information

Only passports and Permanent resident cards are accepted. Photocopies or other forms of ID are NOT accepted. No ID, no test. See specific information for Refugees.

Coats, Bags & Valuables

There is a coat room at the venue for coats and bags. There is a security desk where ALL VALUABLES must be checked in. These include: Wallets, purses, cell phones, watches, dictionaries, laptops, cosmetics, etc. The Test Centre asks that you kindly leave your valuables at home rather than bring them to the Test Centre.

The Test is Paper-Based

Test Centres in Canada only offer the paper-based IELTS test. Headphones are NOT used by Global Village Calgary for the Listening section.
